Palladino Barolo Serralunga 2021 Magnum represents the pinnacle of Nebbiolo in a magnum version, offering a slower and more harmonious evolution over time. In the glass, it displays a deep garnet color with intense ruby highlights. The aromatic profile is elegant and layered: dried rose, geranium, black cherry, dried plum, sweet spices, tobacco, and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is powerful yet harmonious, with noble and vibrant tannins, a perfect balance between structure and finesse, and a lingering finish. The magnum bottle emphasizes the balance and slow evolution, making it ideal for cellaring and enjoying on special occasions.

Conventional Production Method . The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo , sourced from vineyards in the crus of the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. The harvest is carried out manually with careful selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with prolonged maceration to promote delicate and progressive extraction. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for at least 24 months in large oak barrels, followed by a period of bottle aging before release.

Pairings: It pairs beautifully with rich, complex dishes: braised meats, stewed red meats, game, roast beef, lamb, and venison, as well as mature cheeses and truffle pairings. Magnum bottles also offer the best of both worlds, especially in slow tastings and wine-related reflections.
