Paolo Scavino's Barolo Monvigliero 2020 Magnum is an extraordinary interpretation of the Verduno cru, renowned for its finesse. Coming from a 0.8-hectare vineyard on Sant'Agata Fossili marl soils, this bright ruby red with garnet highlights offers a seductive bouquet of violet, raspberry, wild strawberry and fine spices, with a touch of minerality reminiscent of chalk. Aged for 24 months in barriques and large barrels, it comes in a Magnum format with an elegant structure, silky tannins and a vibrant freshness that culminates in a long and harmonious finish. Ideal for a slow and majestic evolution, it is a Barolo that combines grace and power, perfect for special occasions or prestigious collections.

Production Method: Conventional, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature (28-30 °C) for 10-12 days, maceration on the skins for a further 20-30 days, malolactic fermentation in wood, maturation 10 months in French oak barriques (20% new) and 14 months in large oak barrels, minimum aging 12 months in bottle

Pairings: Game, braised meat in Barolo, aged cheeses
