Aldo Conterno's Barolo Bussia 2021 DOCG is one of the most authoritative interpretations of the great Bussia cru from Monforte d'Alba. In the glass, it presents a luminous and deep garnet color. The aromatic profile is broad and layered: dried rose, ripe cherry, plum, and berries blend with notes of licorice, tobacco, sweet spices, and an elegant mineral undertone. On the palate, it is structured and harmonious, with noble and well-crafted tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, persistent, and refined finish. A classic and authoritative Barolo, designed for a long evolution in the bottle.

Conventional Production Method: The grapes are 100% Nebbiolo , sourced from the prestigious Bussia vineyard in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The harvest is manual with rigorous selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for approximately 20–30 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for approximately 28 months in large Slavonian oak barrels , followed by a period of bottle aging before release, according to the winery's traditional style.

Pairings: Ideal with full-bodied dishes: braised beef, rich roasts, game, roast lamb, and mature cheeses. Also perfect as a meditation wine.
