Cappellano’s Barolo Pie Franco 2020 is an extraordinary wine, produced from ungrafted vines in the Gabutti cru, a rare example of pre-phylloxera Nebbiolo. This intense garnet red offers an ethereal bouquet of ripe cherry, wild rose, tobacco and fine spices, with a pure minerality that enhances its uniqueness. Aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, it stands out for its elegant and deep palate, with vibrant tannins and a finish of rare persistence. A legendary Barolo, a symbol of tradition and resistance, perfect for collectors and memorable tastings.

Production Method: Organic, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats for 20-30 days with maceration on the skins, maturation 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels of 20-40 hl, refinement in bottle for at least 12 months
Pairings: Game, truffle, mature cheeses
