The 2020 San Leonardo is the epitome of Trentino's excellence in winemaking: an Alpine Bordeaux blend that combines structure, elegance, and depth. It features an intense ruby red color, evolving toward garnet hues with aging. The nose reveals a refined bouquet of ripe black fruits (plum, blackberry) and cherry, complemented by subtle vegetal notes of green pepper, aromatic herbs, sweet tobacco, cocoa, and subtle balsamic accents. The palate is enveloping and harmonious: balanced structure, elegant and well-integrated tannins, a light freshness that sustains the palate, and a long, refined, and memorable finish. A wine capable of evolving for decades while maintaining its vitality and finesse.


Conventional Production Method . The grapes are a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Merlot (according to the estate's percentage). Harvesting is manual with rigorous selection. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts for approximately 12–15 days with pumping over and délestage. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak: 70% in barriques and 30% in medium-toasted tonneaux (first, second, and third passages). It is then blended and aged in bottle for at least another 24 months before release.


Pairings : Perfect with rich dishes: braised meats, roast beef, game, lamb, stewed wild boar, dishes with porcini mushrooms and truffles, and mature, lingering cheeses. Enjoyed in a relaxed manner while gazing into the distance, it's a wine that invites contemplation.
