Tiezzi's Brunello di Montalcino Poggio Cerrino 2019 DOCG is a wine that powerfully embodies the tradition of Sangiovese di Montalcino, interpreted with vigor and precision. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby color, tending to garnet with aging. On the nose, intense and complex aromas emerge: ripe red fruits, cherry, raspberry, wild blackberry, accompanied by earthy notes, aromatic herbs, graphite, a hint of dark chocolate, and sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals great structure and personality: well-defined yet refined tannins, balanced acidity that ensures freshness, and a long, persistent finish that leaves salty and mineral traces. A wine designed to evolve over time and provide refined experiences even after years in the bottle.


 Conventional Production Method , The grapes are 100% Sangiovese, grown on sandy-clay soils at approximately 350 meters above sea level in the "Poggio Cerrino" vineyard, with vines averaging approximately 45 years old. The harvest is entirely manual, with careful selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in submerged-cap tanks for approximately 21 days, followed by aging for almost four years in large 10-40 hl Slavonian oak barrels.
 Finally, the wine rests further in the bottle before being released for sale.
