Le Pergole Torte 2019 by Montevertine, a timeless icon, is born in the heart of Radda in Chianti, from vines rooted in alberese soils at 425 meters above sea level. This pure Sangiovese, masterfully refined for 24 months between Slavonian barrels and Allier barriques, reveals itself in a deep ruby red, with a seductive bouquet of violets, wild blackberries and sweet spices, caressed by nuances of vanilla. The Torte Pergolas
Produced for the first time in the 1977 vintage, it was the first pure Sangiovese vinified in our area of Radda in Chianti. The grapes come from our historic vineyards, planted between 1968 and 1999.
Production method Conventional, spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks, without filtration.
