Fuligni's Brunello 2021 comes from the estate's own vineyards in Montalcino, between 380 and 450 metres above sea level. Bright ruby red, it has aromas of cherry, dried rose, tobacco and cedar, with discreet spice. The palate is at once elegant and powerful, with silky tannins and a long, precise finish. James Suckling named it Wine of the Year in his Top 100 Italian Wines of 2026.
Production method: Fermented in stainless steel with maceration on the skins. Two and a half to three years in wood, a quarter in Allier oak tonneaux and three quarters in Slavonian oak casks; released after four years.
Food pairings: Roast and grilled red meats, braised dishes, game, aged cheeses.
