Berteru " il Bianco" Barbagia IGT 2024 by Luca Gungui is a rare and fascinating wine, produced from an ancient native Sardinian grape variety, Granazza, organically grown in Mamoiada. This bright straw yellow offers a bouquet of white flowers, green apple, citrus fruits and a mineral note that recalls the granite of the territory. Vinified and aged in steel to preserve its freshness, it stands out for a lively and savory palate, with a dry and slightly herbaceous finish. The fresh 2024 vintage makes this wine an excellent choice to accompany seafood dishes or as a summer aperitif, with an authenticity that tells the heart of Barbagia.

Production Method Granazza grapes come from a 1 hectare vineyard in Mamoiada, on granite soils at 600-700 meters above sea level, with 60-year-old organically grown vines. Manual harvest at the end of August, soft pressing, spontaneous fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature (16-18 °C) for 10-12 days, aging in steel for 6 months, bottling without filtration. Production limited to approximately 1,000 bottles.

Pairings Grilled fish, seafood, stuffed vegetables, fresh cheeses such as Sardinian goat cheese.
