Luca Gungui's Berteru 2023 is a Cannonau that captures the authentic essence of Mamoiada, a small artisanal jewel produced from 60-year-old vines grown organically on granite soils at 600-700 meters above sea level. This deep ruby red releases an intense bouquet of blackberries, raspberries and ripe black fruit, with nuances of myrtle, vanilla and a delicate minerality that recalls the Sardinian land. In the mouth it is warm, full and round, with soft tannins and a surprising freshness, which closes with a long and spicy finish. The labels, numbered by hand, reflect Luca's care for each bottle, making this wine a sincere tribute to tradition and the territory. Perfect for those looking for a versatile and characterful red, with interesting evolution potential.

Production Method Certified organic, manual harvest from a vineyard of about 1 hectare in Sas de Melas, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in PVC or steel tanks for 12-15 days, long maceration on the skins to extract color and structure, aging for a few months in steel (sometimes with a short passage in 1000-liter oak barrels for some batches), manual bottling without filtration, hand labeling. Production limited to about 3000-4000 bottles.
