Cappellano's Barolo Piè Rupestris 2020 Magnum is a majestic wine, born from the Gabutti cru in Serralunga d'Alba from vines grafted onto American rootstock (Rupestris) that are over 60 years old. This intense garnet red with orange highlights offers a complex bouquet of dog rose, cherry in alcohol, licorice and dark spices, with an earthy note that underlines its Serralunga character. Aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, it presents itself with an imposing structure, vigorous but elegant tannins and a deep and persistent finish. In Magnum format, it is a treasure for collectors and lovers of traditional Barolo, with an aging potential that exceeds 20 years.
