Lisini San Biagio 2023 is the youngest and most immediate expression of Sangiovese grown in Montalcino. A fragrant and smooth red that expresses freshness, drinkability, and the terroir's distinctive character. It displays a bright and clear ruby color. On the nose, notes of red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry emerge, enriched with floral hints of violet and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, it reveals a supple and harmonious profile, with delicate tannins, lively acidity, and a juicy and persistent finish. A versatile and pleasant wine, designed to accompany everyday dining, yet with the typical finesse of the Lisini style.


 Conventional Production Method : The grapes are 100% Sangiovese from the Lisini estate vineyards. Harvesting is done by hand, with careful selection of the bunches. Fermentation takes place in glass-lined concrete tanks, with maceration on the skins for approximately 14–18 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation follows. Aging also takes place in concrete tanks, preserving the purity of the fruit and aromatic freshness, without any oak aging. Finally, the wine ages in bottle before being released for sale.


 Pairings: Perfect with light ragù-based pasta dishes, roasted or grilled white meats, Tuscan cured meats, and fresh and semi-mature cheeses. It also pairs very well with gourmet pizzas and savory vegetarian dishes.
